SEREMBAN (09/12/2016): An elderly woman was slashed with a parang during a robbery which took place at her home in Rumah Rakyat Sikamat here, yesterday.
In the 10.45am incident, Amina Amin, 66, suffered injuries on her head after four men attacked her with a parang before yanking off her gold chain and bracelet worth RM7,000.
When contacted, Seremban district police chief Assistant Commissioner Thiew Hock Poh confirmed the incident.
“The victim has been sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital for treatment. We are tracking the four men and the case will be investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code for causing hurt while attempting to commit robbery,” he said.
